Amazingly most of the Major media outlets did not cover this. Gov. Tim Walz’s administration claimed The Quality Learning (oops Learing) Center, had been closed the week before. BUT a few days after that claim, children were filmed being dropped off then put back in cars.

reported that Mohamed Adan,36, from Somalia, who
stabbed and then strangled the life from the mother of
his children while out on bail which was paid
by a Portland police abolition group has
been sentenced to life in prison.
Mohamed Adan will
be eligible for parole in 25 years as of Tuesday for the second-degree murder
of 36-year-old (Jamila) Rachael
Abraham in 2022.
Jamila — who had
two children with Adan and had reported his domestic violence — called into a
Multnomah County courtroom in August 2022, begging authorities not to
release Adan in a case charging him with violating her no-contact order. He
was released and stabbed her multiple times disfiguring and killing her, as she
feared that week.
John Michael Garza, Jr.,
21, of Midlothian, Texas, was charged last week by federal complaint with the
offense of attempting to provide material support or resources to a designated
foreign terrorist organization after he brought various bomb-making materials
to a meeting on Monday evening, Dec. 22, and gave them to an individual he
believed was an ISIS “brother.” In reality, Garza met with an undercover agent.
During the meeting, Garza described how to mix the components and offered to
send an instructional video explaining how to build the bomb. Law enforcement
agents arrested Garza shortly after he left the meeting.
The investigation started
in mid-October 2025, when an undercover New York City Police Department
employee noticed a particular social media account — later determined to be
Garza’s — that followed several other pro-ISIS accounts and wrote a comment on
a pro-ISIS post.
Attorney General Pamela
Bondi said, “ISIS’s poisonous ideology must be ripped out root and stem —
anyone who tries to commit violence on ISIS’s behalf will be found, arrested,
and prosecuted. You cannot hide from us.”
The Deccan Herald
reported that Zohran Mamdani was sworn in as mayor of New York City on Jan. 1,
he represents a range of demographics the city has not seen before in top
leadership: South Asian, millennial, Muslim.
During both of his
swearing-in ceremonies, Mamdani put his hand on the Quran, Islam’s holiest
book, making him the first mayor in New York City to do so.
At his midnight
swearing-in ceremony, he used his grandfather’s Quran and one that belonged
to Arturo Schomburg, the Black writer and historian.
For his daytime ceremony at City Hall, he used his grandfather’s and at least one other family Quran.

news story we shared with you last week has new information. Osman Azizov, 19,
is an Azerbaijani citizen who, accompanied by his parents, crossed into Canada
between official border points near Lacolle, Quebec, in 2017. Immigration
records describe how Azizov left Baku, Azerbaijan, with his parents on Feb. 18,
2017, when he was 11 years old. They flew to New York and paid a Brooklyn cab
driver $1,500 to take them to the Canadian border.
It gets more interesting, the
Immigration and Refugee Board rejected the Azizov family’s asylum claims in
2018, the Refugee Appeal Division denied their appeal, and the Federal Court
declined to review the case in 2019. But Azizov was nonetheless living in
Toronto when he was arrested in August for allegedly trying to kidnap three women at gunpoint.
The 19-year-old and his co-accused,
Farad Sadaat, 19, and Waleed Khan, 26, face almost 80 charges. Khan has also been charged with terrorism
offences that allege he is a supporter
of the Islamic State.

Two Afghan migrants who
targeted at least 35 victims in their homes after setting up meetings on Grindr
were jailed for a total of eight and a half years. Rahmat Khan
Mohammadi, 22, and Mohammed Bilal Hotak, 21, used the LGBT dating app to
hook up with men before stealing their phones, wallets, passports and
watches. The pair carried out 35 burglaries and 20 related scams
using the gay dating app between October 2024 and March 2025.

reported that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is facing criticism this week
for saying that he was “delighted” at the return to the United Kingdom
of Aleh Abd El-Fattah, an Egyptian man, who publicly approved of killing
“Zionists,” and who had been imprisoned in Egypt until his pardon in September
by President Al-Sissi.
Robert Jenrick, the shadow
secretary of state for justice and shadow lord chancellor, sent
Starmer a letter on Sunday, criticizing his implied endorsement of Alaa Abd
El-Fattah the previous day.
The reason El-Fattah is
in the UK, the 44-year-old was convicted in Egypt in 2021 of “spreading fake
news” for sharing a Facebook post about torture in the country following a
trial that human rights groups said was unfair. He was granted British
citizenship in December 2021 through his London-born mother.
The Daily Mail shared
that El-Fattah’s sister Mona Seif, who headed a long-running campaign for her
brother's release, suggested the murders, rapes and tortures by Hamas led
Gazans on October 7th 2023 against Israel was
'understandable' and ‘justified.’ Mona Seif got his pardon, his citizenship
in the UK. But both Mona and her brother practice hate speech as Anti-semites.

Le Figaro
reported that a Malian migrant was arrested on Friday evening after three
women were attacked on the number 3 line of the Parisian metro system
between 4:15 and 4:45 pm. Thankfully, the lives of the three victims are
not in danger as their wounds were superficial. However, the 25-year-old
African should not have been in the country had authorities performed their
duty.
According to Le
Figaro, the illegal from Mali was previously imprisoned last year
for aggravated theft and sexual assault. He was released in July and was
issued a deportation order, yet nearly half a year later, has still not
been removed from the country.
Following the
attack on Friday, an investigation into attempted murder has been opened by
the Regional Transport Security Service (SRT), which is reportedly not
currently considering terrorism as a motivating factor. The suspect is believed
to be “mentally unstable”.

UPI reported that nine people who are accused of raising more than $8 million over the past 2 years in Italy to help fund Hamas have been arrested by Italian authorities. This fund raising was to provide assistance to Hamas after it carried out the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israeli civilians and started the war in Gaza.
Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi posted on X that, "The
operation by the State Police and the Guardia Financial Police is a very
important and significant one, with the arrest of nine people, including the
most well-known Mohammad Han noon,” who is the president of the
Palestinian Association based in Italy.
Police officials stated that “the suspects collected
donations intended for the civilian population of Gaza. However, it emerged
that 71% of these funds were diverted to Hamas' coffers to finance its military
wing and support the families of suicide bombers or those detained for
terrorism.”

national president Maulana Shahbuddin Razvi published a video, on Monday where
he gave a ‘fatwa’ against New Year celebrations terming them as ‘anti-Islamic’
and against the ‘sharia’ and asked the Muslims not to participate in the
celebrations.

are illegal in the light of the sharia,’’ Razvi said in response to a query by
community members, who sought to know if such celebrations were in accordance

The Jerusalem Post reported that Iraq’s legalization
of child marriage has human rights organizations warning that young girls are
being auctioned off in black market sales to older men.
The Sunday Times reported that The relatives of Amani, a 12-year-old girl set to be married off to a
17-year-old she has never met, that the ceremony would go ahead “without the
need for her permission.” A local cleric confirmed that Amani
could be married, as she had started puberty.
One of Amani’s relatives admitted that, after the
amendment passed, four of her younger cousins were quickly married off to older
men for “financial reasons.”
SYRIA
France 24 reported that at
least eight people were killed in an explosion at the Imam Ali Bin Abi
Talib Mosque, an Alawite-majority
site in Homs, on Friday.
Local official Issam Naameh said the blast took place during Friday noon prayers, typically the busiest time for mosques.

A couple were killed in South-West Niger this week
after armed jihadis first fired into the air inside a church on Friday. “A man
and his wife ran and hid in their house but [the jihadis] followed them and
they were killed.”
NIGERIA
The latest assault by Boko Haram, occurred on
Monday evening around 6:00 PM, claimed the lives of at least 14 people, with
many more injured and scores displaced amid widespread destruction. It is
thought more were killed, the search for those who are missing continues.
Local resident Mr.
Abalis Jawaja, spoke to reporters, and described the attack as “mayhem” that targeted vulnerable civilians,
including women, youths, and elderly men. “Suspected Boko Haram members rained
terror on Mubang village, killing indiscriminately,” he said. Attackers set
fire to numerous homes, rendering entire families homeless, while looting food
items and other valuables.
