USA

Robert Spencer wrote in PJ Media about Shadi Hamid, Washington Post columnist who is also a professor at Georgetown UniversityHamid wrote in the Washington Post that expecting Muslims to adopt American values was just another manifestation of that “Islamophobia” that everyone is so desperate to avoid. Hamid argued not only that Muslims should not be expected to assimilate into American society, but that efforts to ban Sharia are as futile as they are “bigoted reasoning is that Muslims simply aren’t going to give up Sharia. In the midst of all Hamid’s bravado, however, he was extremely disingenuous about the nature of Sharia itself.

Spencer points out that Hamid argues that Muslims should not have to assimilate because doing so makes them go against Shariah.

The Washington Examiner and WION news reported that Muhammad Shahzeb Khana Pakistani national known as “Shahzeb Jadoon” pleaded guilty to planning a mass shooting at a Jewish center in Brooklyn, New York. The terrorist act was originally planned for Oct. 7, 2024.  The date of the planned event was to coincide with the first anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023, attacks in Israel by Hamas. But the plan was foiled when he was arrested in Canada on Sept. 4, 2024, ahead of trying to enter the United States. His goal was to execute the “largest attack on US soil since 9/11.”

Khan’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for Aug. 12, 2026. One charge that he pleaded guilty to, attempting to commit acts of terrorism transcending national boundaries, carries a maximum penalty of life in prison

AJ Caschetta wrote for the Investigative Project on Terrorism about a federal lawsuit brought by the Trump Administration against Harvard University. Caschetta points out that last year, the [Trump Administration} Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education, and the General Services Administration sent a letter to Harvard President Alan Garber outlining a series of reforms that were expected in order to "maintain Harvard's financial relationship with the federal government." Among those demands, were calls for Harvard to "audit programs and departments that most fuel antisemitic harassment or reflect ideological capture." This list includes the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, and the Divinity School – Harvard's unholy Trinity of Jew Hatred.

The letter also called for Harvard to "end support and recognition of student groups or clubs that engaged in anti-Semitic activity since October 7, 2023, including the Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee, Harvard Graduate Students 4 Palestine, Law Students 4 Palestine, Students for Justice in Palestine" and others.

The new lawsuit accuses it of violating Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act focuses on the administration's failure "to enforce its rules or meaningfully discipline the mobs that occupy its buildings and terrorize its Jewish and Israeli students." It paints a picture of a university that sides with protesters, overlooks violations of policy, rewards bad behavior, and seeks to cover up its misdeeds. The criminal complaint does an impressive job of highlighting Harvard's antisemitic culture and the administration that abets it. However, it does not show how that culture was planted and nurtured, over the last two decades.

Fox9 out of Minneapolis, Minnesota reported thatauthorities are searching for a man accused of being the "principal actor" in a Medicaid fraud scheme that defrauded Minnesota taxpayers out of nearly $11 million after he failed to appear in court on April 8th.

Abdirashid Ismail Said, 50, is one of three people facing theft by swindle charges for alleged Medicaid fraud that took place from May 2019 to May 2023.

Said had avoided being ordered to surrender his passport by paying the unconditional bond amount of $150,000. The conditional bond, which would have required him to surrender his passport, was set at $50,000.

The detective who filed the complaint had warned  that SAID’s familties outside the jurisdiction of Minnesota,” and his access to funds create a potential to “flee, hide, or otherwise prevent the execution of the warrant.” Said has a wife and child in Nairobi, Kenya. Said is now a wanted fugitive on the run.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Texas Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) has introduced a bill to designate the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist organization in the state of Texas.

The Designating Hamas Affiliates in America Act of 2026 seeks to block CAIR’s assets, prohibit US citizens from interacting with the organization, and revoke its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.

“CAIR is not some innocent 501(c)(3) organization – they facilitate terrorism while operating under the guise of a nonprofit,” said the congressman.

“This bill makes it clear: Their assets must be frozen, their tax-exempt status revoked, and all Americans should be prohibited from supporting them. No organization that aids terrorism should financially benefit from it, especially on US soil.”

In the full text of the bill, Roy cites evidence of CAIR’s terror links. This includes the fact that CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial.

MEMRI found a video of Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)  Director of the Los Angeles branch, Hussam Ayloush given Friday April 3rd at the Islamic Center of Irvine, California. In the sermon Ayloush said that Israel aims to spread instability throughout the Middle East in order to establish its “Greater Israel plan,” consisting of the ethnic cleansing of Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Ayloush also said, that after Iran, their next target will be TurkeyPakistan and Syria.

CANADA

David Menzies of Rebel News interviewed  Hussain Debaja, outside Ahlul [Eh-luhBeit Mosque in Windsor, Ontario. Debaja moved from his native Lebanon in the late ‘80s to Canada. Most people would consider that an upgrade. You would think most people would be grateful. But no, not DebajaClearly, he never planned to assimilate. Rather, he hangs on to his age-old hatred for Israel and the U.S. while praising terrorist groups that literally have Canadian blood on their hands. This interview is something every Canadian and American should see. This is just the first few min.

UK

The Daily Mail reported that a British man appeared in court after he was accused of directing the activities of Somalia-based terrorist group Al-Shabaab.

Jermaine Grant, a 43-year-old Muslim convert, has also been accused of three counts of attending a commando training group with the Islamist militant organisation in the Somalian city of Kismayo.

He has also been charged with two counts of possession of an AK47 assault rifle for the purposes of terrorism, following an investigation by counter terrorism officers. Setting out the charges, prosecutor Carl Kelvin said: 'Grant went to Al-Shabaab training camps, trained as a commando, became a platoon leader, took part in a number of battles and discharged firearms and took full part in fighting.'

Al-Shabaab was behind the massacre at Westgate Shopping centre in Nairobi Kenya in September 2013 in which four masked gunmen killed 67 people.

Birmingham Live reported that  'Mosque teacher' Abdul Haq,42, of Birmingham stands accused of sexually assaulting a child at his family home where he taught Quran lessons in his garden shed.

A jury is deliberating in the trial of Abdul Haq who is charged with two counts of sexually assaulting a child under 13.

Birmingham Crown Court heard the alleged abuse took place on a number of occasions between 2017 and 2020 while Haq was running religious classes several times a week from a shed in his garden, described in court as a 'mosque'.

IRELAND

Breaking News in Ireland reported that Ziaullhaq Safi (37), an Afghan former teacher who overpowered a vulnerable teenage girl and sexually assaulted her after he "beckoned" her down a dark alley in Sligo has been jailed for six years.

Ziaullhaq Safi was unanimously convicted by a jury of sexual assault and of providing remuneration to a child, then aged 16, for sexual exploitation in April 2023.

FRANCE

The Brussells Times reported that the French cement manufacturer Lafarge and eight former executives were found guilty by a Paris court on April 13th of financing terrorism in 2013 and 2014.

Lafarge, now owned by Swiss cement giant Holcim, made payments totaling nearly 5.6 million Euros to three jihadist groups, including Islamic State (IS), according to the court ruling. The court stated these payments enabled the preparation of terrorist attacks, notably the January 2015 attacks in France.

The head of the court, Isabelle Prévost -Desprezemphasised that financing IS had been critical to the group’s control over Syria’s natural resources, which allowed it to fund attacks both within the region and abroad, particularly in Europe.

GERMANY

A 23-year-old man, born and raised in Germany, will be deported to Turkey after being convicted of murder in a fatal traffic accident. Despite having lived in the country his entire life and trying to stop the decision in court, authorities have been given the right to enforce the deportation.

In February 2023, Yasin H, was driving at high speed on a 40-km (25 mph) stretch of highway in Heilbronn, Germany. He was traveling at over 100 km/h (60mph) with his powerful car when he crashed into a family's car. He was not drunk. This was just one of many times he was speeding. The collision was fatal. The 42-year-old father of the family died, his wife was seriously injured and the couple's two children suffered minor injuries. Yasin himself escaped with only minor scratches.

After being sentenced to nine years in juvenile detention for murder, Yasin unsuccessfully appealed the verdict all the way to the highest court. He then tried to stop his planned deportation. He argued, among other things, that he lacks any real connection to Turkey, despite having relatives there. His lawyer said: “It will hardly be possible for him to establish himself there in any way.”

However, the Judge rejected the appeal. In his assessment, he emphasized the man's qualifications: "You are young, healthy, able-bodied, eloquent and not stupid." The court therefore considered that Yasin has good opportunities to create a life for himself in Turkeydespite the fact that he was born in Germany.

SWEDEN

Samnytt reported that a 35-year-old Iraqi citizen has been arrested on April 10th on suspicion of preparation for a terrorist crime and gross participation in a terrorist organization.

The detainee from Iraq and has never been registered in Sweden. The detention hearing was held with the help of an Arabic-speaking interpreter. The 35-year-old has been in Sweden since at least 2016. It is unclear whether he has applied for or been granted a residence permit.

KUWAIT

The Jerusalem Post reported that the government of Kuwait has arrested 24 people alleged to have financed terrorist groups and threatened the security of the state, the country’s Interior Ministry announced on April 11th.

Eight of those arrested, including one who formerly held Kuwaiti citizenship, were said to have raised funds under religious pretexts and held the capital with the intention of sending money to terrorist entities abroad.

Five former Kuwaiti lawmakers were among those detained. Since Iran began attacking Gulf countries, Kuwait has announced the disruption of multiple Hezbollah cells.

In March, the country announced charges against six members of the terrorist organization who were allegedly planning assassinations across the Gulf.

AUSTRALIA

MEMRI discovered a video of Lebanese-Australian Imam Sheikh Muhammad Maji Al-Sumyani given on April 10th at the Ahl Al-Bait Islamic Center in Sydney. Al-Sumyani said that if the resistance groups weaken, their political, moral, religious and national existence will be subjected to painful blows and they will cease to exist. He said that “the Muslim world” must embrace the resistance factions instead of entrusting their affairs to political blocs and parties that follow only their own personal interests.
