The Salt Lake City Tribune now has Liban Mohamaed, a Muslim Somalian second generation as the winner of the endorsement for the Democratic 1st Congressional District. Photos show a large turnout of Muslims at the Democratic Party Convention. Large amounts of women who in Muslim countries would not have the ability to vote.
Jihad Watch reports that Park Center Senior High School in Minnesota is redesigning its building to include an Islamic prayer room with foot washing stations. This is problematic as federal guidance on Constitutionally Protected Prayer and Religious Expression in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools advises:

The Jerusalem Post reported that in the state of Washington the state chapter of CAIR co-organized an April 17 event that had the purpose of sending letters to imprisoned terrorists and violent criminals, that was stated on its promotional materials and a video published by event cosponsor Nidal Seattle, as the CAIR branch’s executive director was in the midst of running for Washington’s State Assembly.
The Jerusalem post pointed out that Nidal Seattle has also tagged a campaign to free Salah Sarsour, who was arrested by ICE on April 2 under suspicion of funding terrorist organizations and lying on immigration forms about his conviction for throwing Molotov cocktails in Israel.
MEMRI discovered a video of a Friday sermon given at the Islamic Center of Union County in New Jersey by an unknown Iman. In the sermon he told those present that Christianity is dying while Islam is growing. This is something you have to hear for yourself.
CANADA
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported that Mohamed Mahdi, 35, was arrested 3 days after he allegedly shot up a Jewish owned restaurant in Toronto. There had been three synagogue attacks previously including this attack, and they all were “nearly identical: A man approaches the building late at night with a mask or hood covering his face and fires bullets at the door or a window before driving or running off.”
Jewish residents in the Toronto area stated that there was a pair of incidents targeting Jews last weekend causing reason for rising security concerns to the Jewish community.
UK
The Daily Mail reported that Counter-terror police have launched an investigation after arsonists attacked a Jewish business in London on April 17th.
The Force said that a man was seen approaching a row of shops with a plastic bag containing what was later found to be three bottles containing fluid, he lit the bag on fire, but thankfully the bottles failed to fully ignite. 'Minor damage was caused to the shopfront and no injuries were reported.
An Islamist group has claimed responsibility for the arson.
The Daily Mail Reported that homeowners in East London are illegally advertising 'Muslim only' flats, as politicians condemned the listings as 'disgusting and anti-British'.
Online adverts and social media posts have revealed apartments are being marketed specifically for Muslims in the area. The phrase 'Muslims only' is strictly banned in ads, but is still being used by live-in landlords to ensure they just receive applications from those of the same faith.
Among those leading fury at the ads was Robert Jenrick, Reform UK's economic spokesman, who said on X: 'These adverts are disgusting and anti-British. It goes without saying that there would be a national outrage if the tables were turned. Is anything going to happen or is this now acceptable in two-tier Britain?'
Tory frontbencher Sir James Cleverly described the ads as 'plainly unacceptable' and called on ministers to 'urgently ensure the rules are enforced properly'. The shadow housing secretary said: 'This is plainly unacceptable. Discriminating against tenants on the basis of religion is unlawful under the Equality Act and has no place in our housing market.
The Daily Mail reported that Dawood Safi, an Afghan lorry migrant accused of stabbing his landlord Shahzad Farrukh, 45, murdering Wayne Broadhurst who was walking his dog and stabbing a teenager in a knife rampage. Dawood Safi, 23, knifed Wayne Broadhurst 'approximately 14 times' in Midhurst Gardens, on October 27 as he walked past with his dog. Broadhurst, 49, died from his injuries at the scene.
Safi appeared in Crown Court on April 27th via video-link from Broadmoor maximum psychiatric hospital. The migrant denied attempted murder in relation to Mr Farrukh but admitted causing him grievous bodily harm with intent. He also denied attempted murder in relation to the teenager but admitted causing him actual bodily harm. He also admitted to possession of a large knife. Safi has not yet entered a plea to the murder.
MEMRI found a video of British Islamic scholar Ali Raza Rizvi given on March 27th as a Friday sermon at the Hyderi Islamic Center in Croyden, London. In his sermon, Rizvi stated that the Israeli Knesset was forced to allow Israeli soldiers to rape women and children, otherwise they would not agree to fight in Gaza. He compared this Shiites who never ever lift their hands against innocent women and children.
Rizvi is saying Shiiites never rape Muslim women and children. The word "innocent" means Muslim to those who know Islam.
BBC News reported that Abdul Qayum, 53, who raped a schoolgirl more than 20 years ago has been jailed after a DNA test connected him to the crime.
Abdul Qayum, who was 31 at the time, plied the 14-year-old with alcohol and drugs and raped her at his flat, in June 2004.
Qayum, of Bradford, had denied the offence but was found guilty and sentenced to 14 years imprisonment at Bradford Crown Court on Friday.
Birmingham Live reported that Amir Khan, 25 is accused of stabbing his wife in November and is now on trial. Khan allegedly stabbed Madio Bano, 25, his wife, in the skull above the ear deep enough to penetrate into the brain. She has been in a coma since. Khan originally reported his wife fell in their home to emergency services. It was not until she received medical treatment that the attempted murder was discovered.
Khan is a Pakistani national who entered the UK in 2017 illegally. Khan and his wife have four children.
MOROCCO
The Daily Mail reported that Morocco has been killing stray dogs in preparation for FIFA.
The Daily Mail shared Shocking eyewitness testimony that described how local authorities descended on a residential neighborhood at around 6.30am last week, opening fire on defenceless animals in what was branded a "display of pure savagery," according to a spokesperson from International Animal Welfare Protection Coalition (IAWPC).
One witness, who asked not to be named for fear of reprisals, claimed she watched the horror unfold from her window, adding that there were two shootings reported earlier in the week. “Dogs were shot in cold blood beneath our windows, leaving behind scenes of unbearable violence and streets stained with blood.”
A FIFA spokesperson previously told the Daily Mail that during its bid for the 2030 World Cup, Morocco emphasized its commitment to animal welfare, citing government efforts to expand clinics and support programs for stray dogs.
FRANCE
REMIX reported that the trial of Fahd Kabbaj, 33, was completed in his absence on April 23rd, since he escaped to Morocco after raping a 13-year old girl in the middle of the night in her own bed. The girl had woke up in the middle of the night to discover an intruder had broken into the house who began viciously sexually assaulting her.
Fahd Kabbaj, who fled to Morocco after the heinous assault, has now been convicted for the crime that happened six years ago. The court sentenced him to five years in prison and issued an international arrest warrant, as the man remains on the run.
ITALY
The Telegraph reported that Italy has now obtained clearance from the EU to begin sending illegal migrants to Albania. This is still in the planning stages, as it has been mired in court battles since 2023. The accord was drawn up between Georgia Meloni and Edi Rama, the prime minister of Albania, with whom she has a close personal rapport. When this will begin is unknown.
GERMANY
DPA reported that a 22-year-old Syrian man on Monday confessed to planning an attack in Berlin after becoming radicalized online. On the first day of his trial, the defendant said he was "lucky" to have been caught before committing an attack.
Prosecutors allege the man - who has been in pre-trial detention since November - planned a terrorist attack against Jews and other "non-believers" in Berlin, firstly with a knife and then with a suicide bomb. He is charged with a serious act of violence, endangering the state, as well as financing terrorism, and distributing terrorist material.
He said he had come to Germany at the end of 2023 “to work and earn money.” However, he was “radicalized” on internet platforms such as TikTok, through his “researching” martyrdom and viewing publications linked to the Islamic State terrorist group online. “The devil was in my head,” said the defendant. “I got my ideas from [Islamic State.]” His trial is scheduled for June 5th.
MALI
WCCO Radio reported that General Sadio Camara, the Malian Defense Secretary was assassinated on Sunday in an attack by jihadis and rebels who seized several towns and military bases. The attack has been linked to al-Qaida and the Islamic State group as well as a separatist rebellion in the north. The Camara residence was targeted by a suicide bomber in a car.
