Fox News reported that Sneako, a streamer who broadcasts to more than 1 million followers on a popular online platform set off a viral firestorm after invoking Mayor Zohran Mamdani's name as he declared Islam would take over New York City last Friday.

"This is the Islamic Republic of New York-istan," he continued. "Islam will be in every household. Inshallah the whole world will be Muslim. … Welcome to Mamdani's New York. You see this city? You see how it looks? Inshallah, your city looks just like this too," he shouted among the crowd.

MEMRI caught the video of Montreal-based Palestinian writer and activist Tara Al-Alami said in a June 9, 2026 in a YouTube podcast that the very "premise" of terrorism must be rejected because it is "racialized" and manipulated against people who resist colonialism and imperialism. She said that "every single Israeli," including civilians living within Israel’s 1948 borders, is part of the "settler colony" built on stolen Palestinian land that is actively engaged in genocide and ethnic cleansing. She praised Hamas Gaza leader Yahya Sinwar, Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Hamas military commander Muhammad Deif, and Hamas spokesman Abu Obayda, all of whom were killed by Israel, saying that they had provided "comfort" and "direction" to the people on the ground.

[Quran 5:20-26

20 And when Moses said to his people, "O my people, remember the grace of Allah on you when he made prophets among you. And he made you kings, and he gave you what he did not give anyone of the world. 21 O my people, enter the holy land which Allah has prescribed for you, and do not turn away on your backs so you will be turned back losers." 22 They said, "O Moses, surely in it are powerful people, and surely we will not enter it until they come out of it. So if they come out of it, so surely we will enter." 23 Two men among the fearers, Allah graced on them, said, "Enter on them the door. So when you enter it, so surely you will be victorious. And on Allah, so depend, if you were believers." 24 They said, "O Moses, surely we will never enter it as long as they are in it. So go, you and your lord. So engage in war. Surely we are sitting down right here." 25 He said, "My lord, surely I do not own anything except myself and my brother, so separate between us and the transgressing people." 26 He said, "So surely it is forbidden to them forty years; they will be lost on the earth. So do not grieve on the transgressing people."]

Jewish News Syndicate reported that the police in Toronto arrested a man on June 30th on suspicion of attacking a Jewish man while yelling antisemitic slurs against the victim.

Around 12:10 in the afternoon, the accused approached the victim at a commercial property that the victim manages.

The suspect, identified as Abdulkadir al-Jelani, 58, from Toronto, started yelling and throwing rocks “and other items” at the victim, causing him minor wounds.

Al-Jelani is charged with three counts of assault with a weapon and one count of uttering death threats, the Toronto Police Service said. He appeared in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on July 1. “It is believed that the victim was targeted because of their religious attire,” the police added. The victim was named as Joseph Bitton by the National Post.

A real estate agent and lawyer, Bitton told the newspaper that the assailant swung a parking pylon at him, shouting that Jews are “baby killers committing genocide.” “He said he was from Yemen and a Houthi.”

The Borough of Hounslow reported that a convicted sex offender has returned to prison after spending 14 minutes telling a police call handler he was going to attack British Transport Police known as the BTP.

Mansoor Ahmed, 31, of west London, launched his hate-filled tirade after calling BTP’s First Contact Centre on Wednesday the 27th of May.

He had previously pleaded guilty to threatening communications, possession of cannabis, and a public order offence. Ahmed called at 2.30pm and provided a reference number for his own case. It related to a BTP investigation into him sexually assaulting two women on the London Underground in late 2020.

BTP detectives brought him to justice for those sexual assaults, and he was jailed for two years and two months.

Angry that his crimes and custody photo were made public after he was convicted, Ahmed hurled abuse at the call handler for nearly 14 minutes. He threatened graphic violence on BTP officers, stating he would attack them at rail stations. During his monologue he said, “I’m coming to stab all of you […] I’m coming to stab a transport police officer.” Ahmed also made a series of sexually violent threats towards women and children, before adding, “When I find one of your transport police officers, I’m going to put acid on his face.”

Ahmed was arrested two days later, on 29th May, in west London.

Last week on July 3rd, Ahmed was jailed for six months for the threats.

The Daily Mail reported that a Muslim teacher who told students 'Ukrainians are Nazis' and that 'gay and transgender people are mentally ill' has been banned from teaching.

William Garwood, 60, told a misconduct investigation that he was 'entitled to his religious belief in Islam and to the philosophical belief of anti-Nazism'.

The teacher made the comments during a 11th grade history class just days after starting at St Mary's Menston Catholic Voluntary Academy in West Yorkshire, when he was asked, 'are there any just wars?' by one of his students, to which he replied: 'Yes.'

Garwood then told the class that he was 'happy' that Russian President Vladimir Putin was killing 'satanic Nazis' in Ukraine, and that the world was run by billionaires who created 'evil Ukrainians'. During the same class, the teacher also made comments to the effect that 'gay and transgender people are mentally ill.'

Mr Garwood said that he did not give an opinion on gay people 'but asserted that he is a Muslim and that this position is known.

The review panel considered that the comments were not only out of line with the educational purpose of the lesson but were also delivered without any attempt to provide balance or explore alternative perspectives. 'As such, the panel concluded that the conduct was clearly inappropriate and significantly outside the bounds of acceptable teaching practice.' He was removed from his position and he was banned from working as an educator.

The Hindu reported that Pakistan police said on Wednesday (June 24, 2026) they rescued a French woman and her five children after she told authorities she had been held captive by her husband for more than a decade and subjected to years of domestic abuse in the country’s northwest.

Mr. Ahmad, the police chief, said the woman had expressed a desire to return to France, and authorities were coordinating with relevant officials and the French embassy regarding her repatriation. There was no immediate comment from the French embassy.

 https://morningstarnews.org/2026/07/tensions-inflamed-by-blasphemy-accusation-in-pakistan/

Morning Star News reported that more than two dozen Christian families were forced to flee their homes in Pakistan last week after allegations of blasphemy against a pastor living in the United States triggered fears of mob violence.

Tensions reportedly escalated in the Jhulan village on July 3 after announcements from mosque loudspeakers accused Pastor Sajeel Robin of posting videos on social media considered offensive to Islam and its prophet Muhammad. The pastor a native of the village is now residing in the U.S and has been for a couple of years.

Pastor Sajeel Robin frequently posts videos featuring religious debates with Muslims and discussions on Islam.” “His uncle, Shamaun Masih, and younger brother, Nabeel Robin, who still live in the village, reportedly shared some of those videos in WhatsApp groups. After local clerics became aware of the content, they began making announcements from mosque loudspeakers calling on people to act against what they described as ‘blasphemous content.’”

About 35 to 40 Christian families live in Jhulan village. Shortly after the mosque announcements, law enforcement officers arrived and advised Christian residents to leave their homes as a precaution against possible violence, according to Nayyar.

“Most of the Christian families fled with only the belongings they could carry.” Meanwhile, police took Pastor Sajeel’s father, Robin Masih, and his maternal uncle, Shamaun Masih, into protective custody, while his brother, Nabeel Robin, went into hiding to avoid arrest.”

NIGERIA

https://dailytrust.com/mpac-appeal-courts-ruling-against-hijab-assault-on-religious-freedom/

The Muslim Public Affairs Centre (MPAC) has condemned the ruling of the Court of Appeal in Nigeria, setting aside an earlier court judgement recognising the right of female Muslim students to wear hijab.

The judgement, delivered on Friday by a three-member panel of the Ibadan Court of Appeal set aside the May 22, 2024 judgement of the Oyo State High Court, which upheld the right of 11 Muslim female students of the International School, University of Ibadan (ISI), to wear hijab as part of their uniform.

The Court of Appeal held that ISI is a private school because it does not receive government subventions and ruled that the Supreme Court’s earlier judgment recognising the right of Muslim students to wear the hijab applies only to publicly funded schools.

It also ruled that the students had voluntarily waived their right to wear hijab by accepting the school’s code of conduct during their admission.
